About Loka International

Loka International for Import & Export is an Egyptian exporter of fresh and IQF frozen produce, with a licensed fertilizer and pesticide blending and packing plant in Sadat City.

Our office and plant are in Sadat City, Menofia, from where we serve both the domestic market and export customers. The business has traded since 1996, and works with the grower base and the team it built over those years.

Two divisions

Produce — fresh and IQF frozen

Citrus, grapes, strawberry, onion, potato, artichoke and leafy vegetables, alongside a full IQF frozen range. We take the crop from the farm, grade it to calibre and pack to the buyer’s own specification — carton, plastic crate, mesh bag or one-tonne wooden bin.

Agricultural inputs

A licensed plant for blending and packaging chemical fertilizers, foliar fertilizers and soil enhancers; manufacturing of blended and natural plant fertilizers; and agricultural, household and public-health pesticides.

The licence granted under Egyptian Investment Law 72 also covers land reclamation, infrastructure and the cultivation of reclaimed land using modern irrigation. So the business grows and processes as well as trades.

Alongside that plant, Loka is a distributor of the Green Magic range — straight and compound fertilizers, suspension fertilizers, foliar nutrition, fungicides and nematicides. Those products are manufactured by Green Magic and carry their brand; the catalogue on this site lists them under that name. Loka’s ISO certificates cover Loka’s own blending and packing and do not extend to their manufacture.

The certified scope covers blending and packaging of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds and seedlings. These certificates apply to the agricultural-inputs operation and do not extend to fresh or frozen produce. Food-safety certification for the produce division is in progress; until it is complete we prove quality by other means, set out on the Quality page.
