Loka International's four ISO certificates: what they cover, what they do not, and how we prove produce quality with samples and pre-loading inspection.
Our ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certificates cover the agricultural-inputs plant. They do not cover fresh or frozen produce, and food-safety certification for the produce division is still in progress.
So rather than point at a badge, we prove produce quality by what a buyer can verify directly.
How we prove it
Samples before you commit
Sent ahead of any order, so you judge the produce itself rather than a brochure. We would rather lose an order on a sample than on a container.
Grading and Brix recorded per lot
Calibre counts and sugar readings are taken on each lot and shared with the shipping documents, so the paperwork matches what is in the box.
Third-party inspection at loading
SGS, Bureau Veritas or your own agent are welcome at loading, at your cost. We do not treat an inspector as an obstacle.
Traceable to the source farm
Every consignment carries its source farm and packing date, so a query about one pallet does not become a query about the whole shipment.
Unbroken cold chain
From collection through grading and packing to loading, with IQF handling for the frozen lines.
What we will not claim
We do not hold Global GAP, HACCP, ISO 22000 or BRC, and we do not imply otherwise. If your market requires one of those, tell us — we would rather say so now than at the point of shipment.
If you need a certification we do not yet hold, we can still quote where your own importer’s controls allow it, and we will tell you plainly where they do not.
The certificates themselves
Open any of them full size. Each is EGAC-accredited and IAF-recognised, which means an accredited body issued it and the accreditation can be checked independently — it is not a certificate-mill document.
