This policy describes what lokainternational.com collects and what happens to it. It covers this website only, not any dealing you have with us by email, phone or in person outside it.

What we collect

When you send a quote request

The quote request form asks for your name, company, email address, destination country or port, volume, preferred packing and any message you add. All of it is information you choose to type.

We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a mailing list.

Automatically

Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser, the pages requested and the time. These exist for security and to diagnose faults.

Cookies

The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A cookie consent banner records your choice so you are not asked repeatedly, and the site uses functional cookies needed for page caching and, if you are a site administrator, to keep you logged in.

Where it goes

• Quote requests are stored in this website’s database and emailed to our sales address.
• Email is sent through our own mail server at mail.lokainternational.com.
• The site is hosted on shared hosting; the host can access the server it runs on.
• Page caching is handled by LiteSpeed Cache, which runs on the same server.

We do not pass your details to any third party for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept while the enquiry is live and for as long as the commercial relationship lasts, so that we can refer back to what was agreed. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless a tax or customs record requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@lokainternational.com and we will respond.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you those rights directly, and our lawful basis for handling a quote request is the legitimate interest of answering a commercial enquiry you initiated.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, administrative access is limited and protected against repeated login attempts, and quote requests are visible only to signed-in staff.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page.
