Egyptian produce calendar, month by month
Which Egyptian fresh produce is available in which months, from oranges and grapes to onions, potatoes and strawberries, plus the IQF lines you can order year-round.
Egypt supplies fresh produce in every month of the year, but each crop has its own window. This calendar shows the shipping windows for the fresh lines Loka International supplies, so you can plan a programme before you ask for a quote. All windows are from our own catalogue.
When is each Egyptian fresh product in season?

Month by month
- December – February: navel orange, winter-crop potato, strawberry, iceberg lettuce, red cabbage. Summer orange and golden onion start in February.
- March – April: summer orange, golden onion and strawberry continue. Summer-crop potato, green beans, lettuce and cabbage start in April, and red onion from mid April.
- May – August: the grape season, with white, red and black grapes. Summer orange, both onions and summer-crop potato are all available. Strawberry ends in May.
- September – October: red onion and summer-crop potato run to October. Green beans, lettuce and cabbage return in October.
- November: strawberry starts, alongside green beans, lettuce and cabbage.
Which products can you order all year?
Cucumber and coloured bell pepper are supplied fresh year-round. The whole IQF frozen range is also available in every month, including strawberry, mango, green beans, peas, molokhia, okra and artichoke.
